Microsoft has introduced a new routine (mopria), and since then, printing takes at least 5 seconds.

Additionally, the printer is "searched for" every time, and then "ready" appears in the quick print preview. (See attachments.)

My printer is an HP OfficeJet 3834 (All-in-One).


How can I revert to instant printing?

I'm not a computer expert, so please provide simple solutions.

Try this HP software it was released in May, it should work.

I have installed it, but still no change.
I connected the printer to the PC via USB cable. Also in Easy Start only the possibility of the USB port selected.

Try to disable spooling (print directly)

I use WiFi to print as you can see from my setting page.

HP also has an app on the Microsoft App website called HP Smart. They also have a new one that they are working on but no delivery date yet.
