I've also got the Lifetime Upgrade Service for up to 3 PCs.

The Lifetime Upgrade Service can be a problem if you do a clean install. I haven't done a clean install in a long time, but back when I did, I couldn't register with my key. I had to contact them.

I remember years ago, I was using a partition manager, and it hosed my system. I can't remember what one it was now. I had to do a clean install.

Ever since then, I've always used MiniTool Partition Wizard. I've never had one problem with it. I also do system image backups, which I didn't do back then.

I purchased the Pro Ultimate version for $150 CA. At first I thought it was a bit extravagant but over time I was glad that I got the lifetime license with all the features. MiniTool is one of my favorite tools ever. I also have to contact them to get the keys reset because I still have one on Win 7 and another on Win 10.

I don't know why some developers insist on putting a version number at the end of the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folders.
They should just simply call it MiniTool Partition Wizard.

While it may be a unique issue that's just mine, by way of possibe valuable informaion for others, I am not able to boot the version 13 Bootable (USB) Media on any of my computers unless I first disable Secure Boot.

This is a fairly common complaint. A simple fix for your USB media is one that was posted by @garlin , I attached the batch job to the post. This copies the 2023 boot file from the Windows boot to the USB drive to allow booting with Secure Boot enabled and the 2011 cert revoked. I've done it to all my USB boot drives, problem solved.

Here's the contents of that batch file.

A question: Should the batch file be run copied onto the USB drive iself, or can it be run from any spot on the PC into which the USB drive is plugged? (Thank you in advance.)

Run it from an admin command prompt anywhere, you enter the drive letter of the USB drive to update.

Well the obvious reason is so you know what version is on pc, so I rather disagree.

Also, you may still want to run the old version (depend if a portable app of course).

Just uninstall the old version first lol.

In my case I did uninstall the old version, but it left the folder with a few scraps anyway.

Yes. I did too. The installer prompts you to uninstall the previous version.
