Solved Minitool Partition Wizard -- now has 12.8 version

Looks like MTPW may be going the way of Macrium Reflect -- in not offering new free versions anymore.

Saw that their 12.8 version is out, so opened my 12.7 Free edition to check for updates -- and it said no updates found.

So, I went to their site and 12.7 is the most current Free version.

My guess is that they are not going to provide a 12.8 Free edition.

Yep. All the good ones that have offered free versions of their apps are going by the wayside. Everything is quickly becoming "You Pay, Or You Don't Play."
Windows will be next, boys and girls.
@KYHI your rescue disk has been invaluable to me over the years. Are you still actively developing it?

Yes, I downloaded and installed it too. I first tried the update menu on 12.7 and it said I was current though.

My screenshot is from 12.7 so I would have say 12.8. I noticed it does not appear in KYHI's screenshot either.

I use the Portable edition, and when I downloaded it from the Portable page just now, even though the page clearly says 12.7, and "Last updated June 29," the downloaded portable is 12.8. You have to scroll way down on the page to get to the choice between 32-bit and 64-bit downloads, but they're both 12.8.

I noticed this yesterday. I installed 12.8 and wanted to go back to 12.7 because it still has the toolbar, but I could not find a link anywhere. Even links labeled 12.7 produced 12.8 when downloaded and installed all without the tool bar. I had to restore from an image to get 12.7 back.

I have a 12.7 offline installer if you still need it.

I'm gonna stick with 12.8 for now.

The version 12.8 change log doesn't specifically mention about removing the toolbar, but it mentions improved user interface.
