Windows 11 Mount ISO Missing/Not Working​

If you find Windows 11 won’t mount ISO files or the Mount option is missing, what should you do? Right-click on the ISO file and choose Properties. Then, click Change from the General tab, choose Windows Explorer, and click OK. Next, save the change by clicking Apply > OK.

Is there any other way to get Mount option in Menu?

Or, right-click ISO, select Open With, and choose Windows Explorer. That should put the mount option back on your context menu too.

That’s basically what Sandi posted and said didn’t work. Or is it not the same?

Yeah basically, but he/she shouldn't need to select Properties. Just Open with>Windows Explorer

I had the same issue some time ago, no mount option on context menu. After opening with file explorer it put the Mount option back on my context menu.

The place I worked rolled out a group policy that blocks us from being able to mount an ISO. Drove me nuts trying to figure out one day why I could no longer do it.
