My old 2005 HP laptop is triple booting Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 98 Second Edition. It took some doing to get 98 going because it has to have a FAT partition. Then I had to fool it into thinking the laptop only has 256MB of RAM because 98 can't handle over 1 GB. Finding drivers was also a pain and some things still don't have a working one. I can't find one for the wireless network card. I also had to install USB drivers cause 98 didn't support it. 98 shows in the boot menu and actually boots through GRUB which says it's booting DOS 7.

The machine originally came with XP and that OS runs the best because I still had all the original drivers. The one that boots up the fastest is Win 7 which is the 32 bit version of Home Premium.

It's a single core machine and I don't use it much. I just wanted to see if I could make the triple boot work and I did it.
