Hello @abactuon

Thanks for the Reply.

Will Disabling 'Windows Search' not have any detrimental effects for Windows 11?

Thanks in advance

Kevin

Don't waste your time trying to fix the error; it is purely cosmetic. It is caused by SearchFilterHost.exe running in sandboxed/protected mode. The error takes place when Windows Search loads an ifilter to index the contents of a document. The process completes successfully, but triggers this erroneous error. If you don't have an ifilter installed, you will never see this. Only Microsoft can fix the this new non-error.

I'm having the same problem here too.

There's already another thread open for this :

As Drminer said, we have to wait patiently for Microsoft to release a patch to fix this issue.

Many users are encountering this error.

Disabling Search will not allow you to search your computer.
That is not true as I have search service disabled but can still search for files in file explorer if I want to.
Search service just makes it faster as files are indexed.
I have other apps I use for search so no need for search service.
