OS
WIN 11
I have a Network printer that has worked fine with my 2 Win 10 computers. I added a Win 11 laptop to my setup and I see the Network printer when I go to File Explorer/Network, but when I went to Control Panel Printers, I saw the printer after I hit "Add Device" I chose to add it and an error message came up and said driver unavailable. I don't think my other computers needed the driver, because the printer is a wireless printer, even when I have my printer computer turned off the printer still shows up on the network and works.

What printer? Have you checked the manufacturer's website for updated drivers? Also you need to be connected to the internet when adding the printer to it can automatically check for drivers.

There's more than one way to connect Network printers, I have an HP LaserJet and HP OfficeJet connected via Ethernet cable to my Router and can install on any computer with access to the Router whether Wired or Wireless/Wi-Fi. Some printers also offer Wireless Direct. May need to download the app for the printer to install accordingly.

Also, it’s up to you, but for people to help you better in the future, it would help if you completed the following:

Please fill out your computer specifications.

And

Please type “Winver” into search on your PC and open it. Please type the version and build that it reports, into your “System Specs” OS section (first on the list where you have placed “Windows 11”)
Like this for example: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Build 22631.3296

This link will open your System Specs.
