New Gaming pc stuttering

I have similar hardware to your's, but I only use 2 sticks of ram not 4, there have been some issues using all the ram slots.
Have you tried just 2 sticks?
The only problem I have is slight lag due to using a wireless bridge (900Mb/sec!!)

Just thought I would post back with this information. My game started lagging again and I had no idea why. Someone on another forum suggested I install the DirectX package from MS and it not only fixed the problem, but I got increased FPS and the game performance is better than what I have ever seen. The package provides legacy support for older games/directx versions.

MS DirectX
The Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime installs a number of runtime libraries from the legacy DirectX SDK for some games that use D3DX9, D3DX10, D3DX11, XAudio 2.7, XInput 1.3, XACT, and/or Managed DirectX 1.1. Note that this package does not modify the DirectX Runtime installed on your Windows OS in any way.

Thanks for the post.

I'm a little surprised. Some game installers may cause that package to be downloaded and installed automatically. It dates from June of 2010.

Yeah, I have Unreal Tournament 3 Black Edition installed under Stream, and there are no recent patches. That said, if on a new build always make sure you get the latest redistributable DX files installed.

Good luck.

I think you are having issues with the scheduling of tasks between the performance cores and the economy cores in your CPU.It's trying to run the game on the economy cores.Intel switched to this configuration to get temperatures and power consumption down and is known to cause issues. All I can suggest is go to your motherboards website and make sure your bios and chipset drivers are up to date.

My BIOS has an option (ScrollLock) to park the E-cores, de facto disabling/re-enabling them on the fly via your keyboard.

I doubt the issue is really the E-cores, though. Those E-cores kill your performance for equally paralleled tasks, like running x265, as then all threads are pulled down to the lowest common denominator (the speed and functionality of an E-core). Games are different, though, as many threads will do many things. Also, TDP for all these cores is officially still 125W, which is ridiculously low (internally, they allow more, though, up to 250W). But the point is, even if his 12700K hits a power limit, game won't just halt (as if it's throttling badly); he would just see the cores do less turbo-boost.

But stating the obvious, is the OP sure his CPU does indeed not throttle due to overheating? Even my own i9 12900K, with the best AiO water cooling I could find, can still get into the high 80C degrees.

How long does it take to get to "the high 80C degrees"?

I have a 12900k, not OC'd. Using the GPU-Z stress test, I don't think I've ever seen much above 75C for the CPU. On the other hand, I doubt that I've run it at 100% for more than 15 minutes. The coolant temperature of my AIO (Corsair iCUE H115i RGB Pro XT) doesn't increase more than a few degrees over that interval.

My i9 12900K isn't OC-ed either; but I did remove all powerlimits, and maxed out all assorted types of turbo boost durations. As a result, all P-Cores only (best for x265), I can run a sustained 4.9 Ghz clock speed across all cores, 100% load, 24/7. At that point, one or two cores may occassionally hit like 86C.

Can you confirm this is still the case and the game is no longer stuttering? I would like to possibly try this.

CPU does not overheat mate it can have this issue right off the bat, from cold start. Every raid is different. Some smooth some bad :/

It's a standard fix for games and programs that require DirectX9, DX10 upwards missed out a few files so they are not fully DirectX 9 compatible, download from Microsoft here and read the instructions first.

Can you confirm this is still the case and the game is no longer stuttering? I would like to possibly try this.
Still working. Definitely fixed the client side lag.

issue is now fixed with the latest update one of the specific patch notes were "Visualisation accuracy of the position of other players" seems to be 100% fixed now i can play with uncapped FPS. where as previous to this "patch" i had to cap fps to 70 for it to be "playabale" still wasnt perfect though.
