Really? So much on top that the second one was to fix a major bug in the first update.

I have been using UniGetUI for some time now to update apps on both my Windows 11 systems, and have been entirely satisfied with it. I have just updated both systems to the latest build (a whole tranche of updates landed today, as you are no doubt aware) and UniGetUI has stopped showing...

That's right. I updated it twice today. A green update warning appeared down in my left-hand corner and I so let it do it's thing. I didn't have the previous version long enough to see the bug.

UnigetUI works fine for me, but I noticed in the Package Managers that I have a lot missing. Does it make a difference on the programs it can update or anything else if there are additional package managers?

Yes. Package managers cover different areas of software and different software. For instance one is dedicated to powershell software, another to python pip modules, etc. Some you may or may not care about.

UniGetUI v2026.2.5​

This release introduces a new searchable Settings experience, making it easier to find configuration options. It also includes several improvements and fixes.

Highlights​

  • Added a comprehensive search feature to the Settings page, allowing you to quickly find and navigate to configuration options.
  • Added a configurable skip level for minor updates, giving you more control over which updates are offered.

Improvements​

  • Improved the update notification experience by preventing the application from automatically switching to the Updates page when displaying a toast notification.

Bug Fixes​

  • Fixed installation scope handling for PowerShell 7.x modules.
  • Fixed sorting of the Installed Packages list under NativeAOT builds.
