We have a Windows 11 notebook that has been working fine for months. Yesterday, we had a blackout and after the blackout, the notebook would not connect to the LAN. Things I did:
- Brought the computer to a shop and they immediately connected with their LAN
- I checked that the notebook’s MAC address is in the router properly
- I rebooted the notebook and the router
- I was unable to ping to or from the notebook
- I checked the WiFi console and I see the notebook
- Made sure that 'Random hardware address' is turned off on the notebook
- When I run ipconfig /all on the notebook, it has the wrong IP address
- Windows Build/Version
- 24H2 build 26100.8655
