Solved Ohhhh Microsoft, that was nasty

I had a G710+, great keyboard although noisy, 'til one day half the key caps went into the vacuum cleaner!

My current MX Master stuff is holding out well, glitchy though, on Bluetooth with Flow and numerous devices.

I wonder if the guy who's in charge of Incase goes by the name of Justin. The missus uses a Microsoft mouse that she is completely addicted to. It's not a cheap mouse but for a cordless it is very precise and I likely would have bought one for myself if I could have found it in black. It's not black — it's pink. She wore out the first one after 4 years of use and I bought it for her on sale when it sold for around 80 bux about ten years ago. The one thing I don't like about it is if you leave it on after use it will burn out the battery. She mourned the loss of her pink mouse so much that I managed to find two more @ a Staples that were discounted as the product line was discontinued. I bought both of them. I'm thinking she's set for at least another ten years of bugging me for batteries. Happy wife, happy life.

I have the Logitech K800 keyboard + Logi MX Anywhere 2S mouse, and have not had any problem with those until after my recent Clean Install of Win 11. I need to know which software will allow me to adjust setting for keyboard and mouse, and where to get it from (the LogiTech website seems a bit chaotic for me).

The other LogiTech item I have is the C920 camera, and I used to have software for that which automatically zoomed in and out etc.
I can't find that software either and the 'G' software has so much in it, I had to uninstall it as it seemed to cause problems.

Could you LogiTech experts please point me in the right direction for this? TIA.

Logitech K800 keyboard and the Logi MX Anywhere 2S mouse both use the same following software:
Logi Options+


The HD Cam has 3 downloads on the download page, I don’t believe you need to use the G-Hub or Gaming Software. But the Logi Tune software can be used if you aren’t happy with the cam features in Windows 11


Just go to the above addresses and click on “Downloads” on the left click the arror to the right of it and select Windows 11. The page will give you the links. If Logi Tune doesn’t allow you to set Auto Zoom, try the G Hub software on the same page. Everything you need should be in the software, including drivers.

Seems we are having a few quirks still.
Now, you know you will have to install a few more programs to enable you to manage
those different hardware.

Here you can find the download info for the C920:

EDIT: SetPoint driver and software from Logitech

K800: driver & software

MX Anywhere 2s

Those are the programs needed to activate your peripherals.

Jumpin' Jack Flash strikes again! For those who use Linux have fun with that LOGI software. There are some buggy scripts on Reddit you can try but then next time you update via that spinning "L" you'll likely be hunting for more scripts. Just sayin'...

Of course . As is the case with Microsoft, some people have issues with Logitech products and all of a sudden Logitech is going downhill, Logitech stinks, Logitech isn't what it used to be. Personally, I wouldn't buy a mouse or keyboard that doesn't have the Logitech logo. Does that mean it's the best company of it's kind? No, it means I've had good success with their products over the past MANY years and I'm happy with them. Others aren't. Okay, so be it. But that doesn't mean it still isn't among the best in class.

People are funny. They don't like something and the company sucks. Nobody goes to a forum to say how much they like something, only to complain about it - and understandably so - they are looking for a fix or company in their misery.

For what it's worth millions have already said so. Complaints about Windows are a penny a dozen. This forum is a testimony to the fact that Windows has a lot of issues. So what. This is what I mean when I say Windows is a love/hate relationship. People bash windows on a regular basis but they still keep on using Windows. It isn't exactly a marriage made in heaven, eh?

I count myself among the chiefest of whiners and complainers and Windows bashers BUT... I still keep using Windows. My passion for Windows verges on the hypocritical, but at least I try to be honest about it. Call me a hypocrite. I will thank you for over stating the obvious. Windows has issues because it was made by people. People are flawed. People aren't perfect and neither is Windows.

I know some are offended when I describe Windows in this fashion but it is what it is. If human kind can relate to the wind and the earth and the sky it certainly is capable of relating to a device it constructs through its own ingenuity. Like it or not, we all relate to our PCs in some fashion or other. Therefore it follows that we have a 'relationship' with a PC when we use a PC. IF that sounds perverse one should consider what these words mean and I wish them the very best with re-writing English diction.

For those who insist that they have a perfect relationship with Windows, meaning that they have never had a problem or issue with Windows at all, and are very happy using Windows, I applaud them. If what they say is true then they have accomplished something tantamount to miraculous. For me, using Windows reminds me of that Shakespearean comedy, The Taming of the Shrew.

Windows is a love/hate relationship.
