On these 10/3/26 Every thing was oké.
I have two Windows pc with Windows 11 25h2. En all updates
My dialy work pc and also my test Windows 11 pc That i not often use have the Same error .
Thy can’'t login to overdrive by the app
Is see this error 0x8004de44.
I tries many solutions from internet noting works.
How nows the solution.
Creating a new user profile yourself does not solve the problem

You may have to completely uninstall OneDrive and re-install it

Use RevoUninstaller (freeware) to make sure you remove all components. Uninstalling any other way and Microsoft will leave behind program bits and pieces, and chances are these are the ones causing problems. Some software components are not overwritten in another install process

Install and run RevoUninstaller
Options tab (along the top) > Uninstaller (LH column)
Untick Make a Restore Point before uninstall
Tick Checkmark all leftovers by default
Uninstaller tab > Double click the desired program
Run the uninstallation process
IMPORTANT
DO NOT reboot even if prompted when completed (Cancel if prompted)
Select the Advanced button and then run the process to remove all leftover files/folders/registry entries left behind after a normal default uninstall process
If prompted at any stage previously, now do the reboot

My opinion:

0x8004de44 is apparently a OneDrive sign‑in failure caused by Microsoft’s authentication servers, not your PCs. When two different machines with the same OS and updates fail on the same day, the problem is not local in my opinion — it’s a Microsoft-side outage or token corruption affecting 25H2 builds.

Ants, I agree. That's why I want to know if he can sign-in to OneDrive and his MS account online. If he can't then it's an account problem.

If you’re having trouble signing in, you could try clearing your Token:

%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC

or

C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC

Delete the contents of the AC folder.

Try OneDrive again.

This is the contact page for Canada: Contact Us - Microsoft Support. If you don't live in Canada this link will likely redirect you to the correct page. Personally, I'm pretty much done with fighting with One Drive. IMO it has too much bad code and too many glitches. One is better off building one's own Cloud and telling MS to get off of it like the song says. Running your own NAS these days is child's play for the most part, but don't take my word for it (no pun intended) do a little research and see what you get. There are some excellent tutorials on this site should you decide to remove One Drive from your PC altogether. This is just an option. One Drive isn't for everyone but I suppose having one's own NAS isn't either.

    Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.

When I put my work pc back on after work. Runs out of the box.
So I think also it was a Microsoft server problem
