If you want to do it via Cmd, launch command prompt as Admin and type

Net user your_username (and a space after)
Then press enter. That will assign a blank/no password. Then type

Net user username (space) newpassword
Then press enter. New password will be set. No hint

@TryingHard, this screen??

I'm good now because the 'hint' screen now only appears after a reboot. I can live with that.
But, for the record this is the hint screen I mean. Blank black screen with hint alone at the center. (See image). After it appears, pressing 'enter' brings up the standard password login screen.
(It was hard to take a picture of the screen because of the reflections).
