Very nice! I wish I'd have had the space for something like that. I like multiple monitors, and my desk will only hold three that are 25" or smaller.
Yeah, The monitor takes up like all of my space here on my desk. But it's the best upgrade I made to my PC in awhile. My next upgrade will be a 3080 ti if I can find one!

Which board are you putting it in?

Also, you might look to run some benchmarks "before" you install the chip, and then another benchmark "after" the chip is installed. Note the results.

Good luck :)

Its the Asus Strix x570-E. I hadnt thought about benchmarking. Does it change the speed?

You didn't need to by a TPM chip for that board since it already has firmware TPM. Page 3-13 (AMD fTPM configuration) of the owner's manual here (PDF file) states it's in the BIOS.

As for performance impact with discrete TPM chips, I found mine had a major impact on the performance of my system. Back in 2017 when I bought the chip for my Gigabyte Z170 board it was more curiosity than need. Once I learned what TPM was about, that I didn't need a discrete chip since my board already had PTT in the BIOS, and the fact that I was getting poor performance with the chip installed, I dumped it.

Anyway, you can see for yourself if you decide to install it to see how your performance fairs with and without.

Good luck.

    This is my backup system.
Okay. THIS is my last purchase. Well, it's kind of a purchase.

View attachment 7641

Xtream Internet service, except I got it for $69.99 for a year. I also got free installation. Good thing I got it this morning! This should be a nice increase from 110Mbps. They said they'll have faster Internet soon, but my onboard ethernet only handles 1000/1000Mbps, and it's a relatively new motherboard. I don't think we'll hit that 6,000GB allowance. If we do, someone is watching too much streaming videos!
Sad purchase recension...

Alas, this never came to be because they were incorrect about servicing my address. They serviced 400ft down the road, but didn't run the fiberoptics all the way down the street. They're collecting the equipment this weekend and issuing a refund. I am stuck with my 120Mbps download and 10Mbps upload. Well, we've survived this long. I guess we can survive until better service is offered. Oh, what a week.

How are they?
They are quite awesome for under $100 ear buds!

They lack many of the fancy options that the $250 buds have, but they sound and work great right outta the box!
