Different colors code different feel: tactile (small bump when actuated), clicky, or silent and linear. Also the force required to actuate the switch and travel etc. You can't see the color installed. Just got them gonna try to see if I might want to change.

I love the sound and tactile feel you get from them. Very similar to the Type M IBM keyboard.

I bought this for my wife from Zales earlier today:

Enchanted Disney Villains Ursula Amethyst and 1/2 CT. T.W. Enhanced Black Diamond Engagement Ring in 14K White Gold

The one she currently has is now too large for her, so I bought a new one. She doesn't wear it as an engagement ring, though. She has a plain band and a 10 yr. anniversary diamond band combo for her wedding set. She loves the fact that it's a villains ring. I had to special order it because it's a smaller size than what they have. It should be here in about six weeks.

I apparently think there's a money tree in my backyard... Just in case there is, I bought this:

I figured if I could get my wife that ring, I could splurge on myself. I've wanted a purple backlit keyboard for some time. Nothing's wrong with my Logitech keyboard, I just wanted this. I hope it's an okay keyboard!

I ordered a new head unit from Crutchfield on Sunday. I went with the JVC KW-X840BTS. I had them do the Ready Harness so it would be plug and play. It was shipped yesterday and arrived this morning. The install took about 10 minutes.

I ordered an iPhone SE 2020 from Apple store the other day and got it delivered in less than 1 hour.
Set it up with new iOS 15 and battery life seems good for my usage.

I was going to order a Google Pixel 4A phone but they are/were out of stock online.
They have a G store near me so I'll go and purchase it live in person. Love the pics that thing takes.

I just hooked up my keyboard and configured it. My keys are now purple.

It will take some getting use to typing on it, though. I probably should have gone with the Cherry MX Brown, which is a little quieter (I think). Or the Cherry MX Red. The Cherry MX Blue has pretty loud key clicks. The key height is also different from my quieter, Logitech K840. Not a problem on any of it, though. I'll get used to both the volume and the key height. I'm sure I'll grow fond of the key clicks because I like clicking sounds. (I know, it's strange.) The iCUE software was easy to install and configure. I love the media controls on the keyboard, including the volume control.

Overall, I think it's a great purchase. I'll be happy with it in the long run, and I always have a backup keyboard with the Logitech!

I have a blue and I love it but I love the sound of the keys clicking. I'm happy to hear you like that keyboard.. a good keyboard makes a huge difference.

I decided I wanted a desktop that meets the W11 specs (to run alongside one that doesn't, but runs 11 beautifully, and we'll see how that goes down the road), and I found a brand new (corporate purchase; never deployed) Lenovo ThinkCentre M920S SFF i5-8500 with 16GB DDR4 2666, a new 250GB SSD, and a new install of W10Pro at a reasonable price. I just don't have the scratch atm for a 2021 model, but this is late 2018, and "That'll do, pig."

I'm now in the process of making detailed plans for OS installation, configuration, software transfer (of my portable apps), and installation of my few apps that require installing. Having gone through this fairly recently with the setup of my current main machine, I'm again a little surprised by how much is involved in getting rid of all the bloat, and how little is involved in getting all the useful stuff up and running.
