I haven’t paid for a coffee in many years unless I have had to take a client out for a meeting or lunch. I love my coffee and my machines. I’d be embarrassed to say how many Espressos I make in a day.

I made a purchase tonight only it wasn't online. My son and I went to a store called 2nd & Charles. They sell thing such as used books, records, CDs and DVDs. They had the complete original tv show Dark Shadows from the mid sixties to the early seventies. I guess the best way to describe it is that it was a horror soap opera with witches, ghost, vampires and werewolves. I use to watch it every week day after I got home from school. I had to give it some serious thought because It was $250.00. If it was new it goes for almost $600.00. There are 1230 1/2 hour episodes so I'm going to be doing a lot of binge watching. :-)

I used to like drip machines, set the timer and get up to hot coffee on time.
But then I started buying Bean to Cup machines.
Now if I upgrade I always get the App controlled machines, turn them on, select the coffee setting and click the start button on my phone. Saves time If I am busy and don’t want to get up. I just have to put an empty cup under to replace when I grab my coffee.
I’ve been eying off the “Breville the Oracle Touch Coffee Machine” But I know what Christie will say so… 😄

I have a Nespresso Pixie going on 5 1/2 years now. First used it in my office at work and now is in my kitchen since retiring. Happily surprised at the longevity and it makes decent espresso, but not like European that I love.

The tires were delivered this afternoon. I was thinking about mounting them, then decided that today being a holiday was a good excuse to make this my lazy day.

I bought some nozzles for my new 3D printer because I need really fine nozzles to print some stuff. This is the second time I have ordered them because Amazon will not deliver the damn things. They sent the last ones back as "refused by recipient". I never even saw the driver. How could I refuse the shipment? :ffs:

On a more positive note, this 3D printer I bought is the cat's pajamas. The speed and quality of the prints is unreal. Light years above my old one.

Yes it was a good birthday. :-)
