Solved Oscillating Task Bar

With Visio open the task bar is oscillates between hide and unhide all the time, very distraction.

Laptop is an Asus OLED Vivobook.

/1/ I have turned on/off the Asus OLED Care function “Automatically hide Windows taskbar in desktop mode” which does not rectify the problem.

/2/ In Settings/Task Bar turned all functions off/on which does not rectify the problem.

/3/ Ran Repair on Visio which does not rectify the problem



Any ideas to stop the oscillation?

I'm guess that something running in the background is causing this issue. Try eliminating one ap at a time until it stops.

Seems this is only happening when I click on a link in a Exel spreadsheet to Visio.

So just have to accept this, need to open the file from Visio.

If I click on the link in Excel then close Excel leaving Visio file open still get oscillation.

Well, at least you located the cause. Sadly, I don't know what the work around for this is but someone else here might. :)
