Your BIOS has nothing to do with how Outlook on the web displays itself or works. I would say it was a coincidence that your Outlook web page wasn’t loading properly.

There is another away to edit Contacts instead of using the ... menu.
Double click on a Contact entry and it opens it up in an editable form.

Not sure as my version allows new folder in right mouse click for contacts - so not sure where the defect he got is coming from. Cheers jimbo Jim, I believe Stigg wants to edit a contact and there is no option in the Edit Contact sub-menu to do so. Hence; What's going on with Outlook? 🤔

In regards to my outlook online looking different to yours, I can’t exactly recall but I think I chose an option to update to the latest interface, very likely Outlook (New) I have no idea why I did that, I prefer the old interface. I may see if it will let me switch back.

No like I said, I could send and receive mail...where that should have been was just my email address I clicked on it and message says I need to log in...I logged in and then that list in you pic showed up

Then maybe you need to right click or whatever process is needed to add Junk mail to the favourites?

Were you able to switch back easily enough?

Edit:
Tip: You can switch back whenever you want. Just switch the toggle off in the new Outlook and it will automatically open the classic version.
