WIN11 HOME Version 24H2
I recently changed my ISP and needed to setup another email account--I changed from COMCAST(Xfinity cable service) to FRONTIER (Fiber)
For the life of me I can not duplicate the VIEW settings used in my old account for my new account.
The view I'm attempting to achieve is shown in item-1(calendar, tasks and messages are shown)
What I have is shown in item-2 (will only show emails)
The new account works correctly and I have spent a BUNCH of time attempting to change the view with NO success.
I was able to easily move folders and the side bar icons work to bring up a calandar, task, etc
I've been looking at YOUTUBE videos and using ChatGPT with no success-No laughing now.
I'm obviously missing something here
ANY help would be appreciated

The case fan and CPU cooler were after purchase upgrades...the i7 cpu runs hot and the OE solution can best be described as marginal when CPU intensive apps are used.
ALSO added VRM and SSD passive heatsinks.
As an aside- here's how the 2 accounts are set in the app

THANKS for taking the time to help---
YES that's the view I'm looking for
I donot have a CUSTOMIZE OUTLOOK TODAY available to me ---see my item-2 above--so the tips offered in the first link you listed aren't available to me
When I query the account, thru OPTIONS then ADVANCED, it shows that START OUTLOOK is set to OUTLOOK TODAY
I'm confused

something new-
I just noticed that OUTLOOK is now opening in the wrong location--not my new INBOX-- so I changed the OUTLOOK TODAY to the correct inbox via BROWSE.
The app now opens in the correct location
Here's the twist-
When I go back to the account options/advanced it is showing the correct inbox but NO option is available to select OUTLOOK TODAY....
Now I'm really confused

If you would please:

File -> Account Settings -> Account Settings
You should be looking at the "Account Settings Dialog" "E-mail" tab.
Your FRONTIER account should be default. (Blue circle with a check)

Click on the "Data Files" tab.
Post a screen shot of that tab.

When you have all email-only accounts (like your GMail) the recommended method is to create a new PST (not connected with any email account) to store all local Calendar and Contacts.

Create an Outlook Data File (.pst) to save your information - Microsoft Support

And then make the new PST the Default Data File. This way, when you change email providers in the future, all your Cal and Con are unchanged.

There's no option for selecting the TODAY folder
"Today" is not a folder. It is a combined View of the Calendar, Contacts, and Task folders. An email-only account (like your GMail) doesn't have these folders by default.
