If it is a bug in an Insider's Preview build, no worries. Just report it to Microsoft and they should fix it in a future version.

One of the symptom is also freezing. To be fair, if I did not have a keyboard backlit impossible to make work on Linux I would have moved already.
I can understand issues and bugs but a taskbar issue when nothing had happen in Win 10. Also, do not like being forced to be an IT guy..I do not know what to think any more about Windows 11 !!
I am not an Insider Preview Build !!
We use (at least myself) use Microsoft because its supposed to be plug and play.. At least it used to be !! Apparently not the case any more.

PS: I have not even talked about bluetooth issue yet. Issue I can't seem to fix for the past 3 weeks. I do have workarounds but very tiresome..

What is your system Windows version? One easy way to find out is go to Settings, System, Info or press WIN+R and run the command winver. My work computer for example is Windows 10 Pro 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1645). This could help. Also another device or application could cause incompatibility. Update them all. Have you tried disabling or even uninstalling Stardock?

Stardock makes start11, a third party app that lets you customize start menu and taskbar. I use it and there was an update this week.

I cant really say. I am a victime of it as well. The good guys in this forum have been trying to help me to solve the issue but finding the root cause is a lost cause :)
In any case, since yesterday I moved to build 22000.675. As of yesterday, the issue has not come back. Its been less than a day so will be testing for a few more days and will report back. Fingers crossed :)

I suggested to uninstall any customization utilities, just in case were causing the bug. Since you solved it, you don't need to.

Well I would not say, yet, solved. Today has been good from other days where I had to reboot 2-3 times a day my laptop. Today nothing !!
Fingers crossed.. And indeed, I do not customize. I don't know much about IT but I understand the ratio risk when customizing !!

This never happened until I installed the upgrades. And never before yesterday.

In that case, uninstall all recent updates. Then enable System Restore and make sure you save a restore point before installing any updates. Use WUA Manager to bypass Windows Update and manually install each update one at a time. Save a restore point, see if you have any issues. If not, proceed with the next update. If you point out the one update that has the problem hide it (block it).

no issue to report as far the taskbar and it seems bluetooth issue might be gone as well..
