Has anybody done any sort of reasonable testing about the performance of Windows when it's run from "Physical vhdx" drives (i.e not from within a virtual machine but as a physical disk) comared with "std" disks. I'd assume SSD's were being used in both cases and internal disks (i.e Windows isn;t being run as a Windows to Go system from externally attached usb device(s).
