The File Explorer Photo Thumbnails are not opening for viewing. I have tried deleting the cache. Not working, as well as, other fixes found online. I am using One Drive as a backup. When I move a photo to the public user folder, it opens up for viewing. And, when I move the photo back to my user folder it remains open. I assume the public folder is not copied to One Drive.

Anyone have a solution for this problem?

In File Explorer, click on the ellipsis (3 dots) and select Options. Go to the View tab and make sure the first option Always show icons, never thumbnails is unchecked.

Also, make sure you have an app associated with the file type so that it can be displayed. I use FastStone Image Viewer, but you can use any viewer you like.
