If Audioengine is your default playback device, you should plug in the Denon receiver to the DAC. Your DAC should have a headphone jack in front where the volume knob is.

A 3.1 (right/left/sub) Altec Lansing computer speakers. I used to primarily use these to play audio from my computer before I got my Denon.

Now turn on your Denon (assuming you have speakers connected to it), select the right audio source on your Denon and play some music on your PC.
If that still doesn't work for you, it's probably time to call a technician.

But why can't I keep the setup that I have and add another audio output? Is there only a limit of two output audio devices in Windows 11 computers? Also, the Audiogenie, which my Altec Landsing speakers are hooked up to comes in handy when for whatever reason, I'm not playing music through my Denon, such as when it gets late at night, and I don't want my music or audio to be too loud.

Well, well, well. It finally worked. However, now I have the problem of not being able to use my Altec Landsing speakers. So, it looks like Windows 11 only gives you two options for audio output: (1) The built-in speaker in my computer itself and (2) One DAC device. And if so, then that kind of sucks.

It's not about what you want to do. It's about what your PC can do. You don't have any other options to connect another audio output. You said the Realtek is for the PC's built-in speaker (if that statement is accurate).
You can buy a USB to audio adapter like shown below (if you have a USB port available on PC) to add another audio output on your PC.
