I still have my very old pocket calculator that had the thermal print paper. It's put away but it still worked when I last used it.

I hope not! I might not want to come back to Windows 11. Joining the test program of Windows 7 is what brought me back to the Windows OS. I was dead set on stayin with Mandrake Linux until I tried a test version of Windows 7. I have neve seen a reason to go back to Linux. Even Windows 8/8.1 didn't make me go back to linux.

I went from 8.1 to 10 pretty much on the first day of availability. My gaming system came with 8 pre-installed, which with the addition of Classic Shell, I found to be better than 7. It then got upgraded to 8.1 and as I said, 10.

I've never understood why anybody would want the taskbar anywhere but at the bottom.

Nor have I Dch48 and having just upgraded my unsupported hardware machine and main laptop to 22H2 I have to say that I cannot see much difference between Windows 10 or 11. Personally 11 does everything that I want to do on a computer and that is all that matters.
