Problem printing a WordPerfect document

This just started happening, click the printer icon, then click Properties and it takes over a minute for the properties page to pop up. All subsequent printing, click the printer icon, now it takes over a minute for the printer dialog to show up.

WordPerfect X7 (2014), LaserJet 4000 TN , Windows 25H2, 26200.8875

Do you have service pack 2 installed? It's supposed to help with some known printing issues. Beyond that you might be SOL since it's old software

I found newer software on the HP website if you can't get yours to work.

Yes service pack 2 is installed. interesting that this just started happening.

All other software that I have prints without any issues.
