I have set up a small laptop for my granddaughter and made an outlook.com address for her however I can send emails to her but she cannot send emails to me or even reply to me. What could be the problem? Any help really appreciated

Both sending and replying depend on your SMTP settings being precise. I know you know that, but that’s the first place you should check again.

Thanks Wisewiz mate I found the problem just now the side bar in the outlook pane had a small 4square icon and clicking on it opened the emails up. Never my strong point emails and networking have always been a convoluted mystery to me:unsure:

Look mate I am76 and am roughly the same as you I like being precise and punctual amongst my pet peeves with others so you are not a lone but I am going to surmise that you like me are oldish going on teenage LOL!!
