After an update this morning my desktop PC just went to a black screen. I system restored to yesterday. It booted to normal desktop but just flashed on and off. I booted to an earlier date 5 days ago and have PC up and running but neither Chrome nor Brave browser will launch but Firefox will. I guess I'll uninstall and reinstall them but how do I get round the fact that windows will try and update again and I'll be back in the same position. I have a backup image on NAS but presumably using that theresd still the issue of windows update breaking the machine again?
