Question on Hyper-V and a VM running on it

Hi folks - Hyper-V gurus particularly.
If a VM is created on Hyper-V and the user who created it logs off can another user access the VM -- I.e does it run as a background process or as a part of the original logged on user's working space.

I am not 100% sure, but I gues any user with Administrator right can load Hyper-V and boot the machine. At least that is the case with VMWare. If you want to protect it, there might be a way to lock it with a password. Either lock the virtual BIOS or Windows guest. Anyone more experienced?

Actually what I wanted to know was whether once a VM was up and running the logged on user (to the HOST Windows machine) could sign out and another user could log on to the HOST Windows OS and access the VM provided the user had an account on the VM -- or could a REMOTE user who had an account on the GUEST but NOT on the HOST log on to the VM even if nobody was actually logged on to the HOST windows machine.

I don't think that's possible. Any user with Administrator rights can start the virtual machine, but cannot login unless he knows the account password or can remove it. Yes, there are tools running from DVDs or USB that can remove the Windows password, if the user forgets it (or someone tries to access your computer locally), but then it would be obvious that someone messed with your virtual machine. There is no hiding it.
