I would just try a Microsoft chat for that.
They use that... a lot.

Uninstall the current version from Apps and Features; then install the new Quick Assist from the Microsoft Store.

Microsoft "loves" sharing screens when dealing with technical issues.
Go on MS chat and tell them... that Quick Assist doesn't seem to be working.
I bet they fix it in about 15 mins.
