Hello,

Been having this issue for quite sometime now.. it's pretty frustrating to say the least. I've been watching YouTube and the audio will just start sounding robotic or static and I'll replay the video to see if it's not the actual video .. and sure enough it's not. I've completely uninstalled Realtek audio drivers that I got from my motherboard website.. However, it reinstalls itself and not sure what else to do.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!

I don’t suppose you have another set of headphones you could use for a testing period to rule out the Razer BlackShark?

For the video on Youtube, they made a lot of formats. Perhaps this is the case.

I uninstalled the Realtek audio drivers with REVO Uninstaller.. I'm giving it a go and seeing if this solves it for now.. Will report back if it happens again.

I did use that driver before and the issue occurred.. it did occur again while I was gaming earlier but only once. I'm gonna try out my other headset and see if that determines if it's my primary headset is defective.

I'm gonna try out my other headset and see if that determines if it's my primary headset is defective.

As I suggested above, it’s the only way to determine if the original headset is defective.
When you say “sounding robotic or static” I am wondering if something is switching it from Stereo to Mono.

Are you using proprietary software with the headphones, Brandon?

I recognize the issue here and I confess that I nearly drove myself nuts trying to fix it. Admittedly, out of desperation, I did a rollback using good ole System Restore. Amazingly that fixed it. I suspect it is a driver issue but this happened to me years ago so there is no way I can say for sure. Sounded like the Xylons were invading my PC.

Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.
I don't use the Razer software.. I find it obnoxious to be honest and I have avoided it at all costs.. Would having it installed make it work better? lol

Perhaps it would. But then you'd have all the other nonsense to deal with that comes with proprietary software. I had to get away from Logitech for that very reason. Their software was getting too obnoxious and invasive. Did you try a system restore? Evidently you don't need the proprietary PITA if it worked fine without it to begin with.

I don't have system restore option available.. I got that disabled. I've got a debloated Windows install as much as I can get.. I think I'm gonna mark it as resolved as I'm currently on YouTube and it would of usually happened by now.. I think uninstalling the driver with REVO uninstaller has worked so far.

Thanks for all the suggestions and the help!
