how do i update for windows 11 i have a ASRock > B360M Pro4 motherboard and the latest version on the website is Realtek high definition audio driver ver:6.0.9231.1 is this the correct version and do I need to update I need to know before I go back to this version since i now have 6.0.1.8186 date is 15/06/2017

okay going back to latest version which is Realtek audio driver ver:6.0.9231.1 it says on asus website Realtek high definition audio driver ver:6.0.9231.1 but it's Realtek(R) audio version 6.0.9231.1 on my device manager is this correct

if i use this one from the ASRock website for my motherboard i can't hear anything and if i click test when i right click my speakers it says failed to test play tone anyway to fix this the version i am using is Realtek high definition audio driver ver:6.0.9231.1 but if uninstall this one is goes to this version instead 10.0.26100.3624 is this okay to use

That's because you've removed the Realtek version and are now using Microsoft's default driver. Stop messing with the drivers, install the one for your motherboard from the Asus website and leave it alone.

i tried the one on ASRock wbesite but i couldn't hear anything it was installed but no sound was appearing

i have asrock by the way not asus

i can't roll back for some reason i didn't update it i removed ver:6.0.9231.1 and it installed 10.0.26100.3624 for some reason

because i couldn't hear anything for some reason everything was plugged in but for some reason if I wanted to test to see if the sound work it said failed to play test tone
