If the only thing preventing you from just installing a fresh install of windows, is trying to save the effort of reinstalling apps, I think you’re making it hard for yourself.
You mentioned your files are important? Buy an external and back them up. I can see you’re in the Windows environment because I can see the Windows desktop behind that image, so that’s a bonus.
