Hello and Happy Friday, I'm having issues with the refresh rate of windows explorer and windows search. When I download even something small like an image I see the temporary download tag followed by .TMP. Usually this happens so quickly you don't even see it. Additionally after renaming folders or files in Explorer it takes quite a while to refresh itself. Lastly when I use WIN+S to search the box appears after a delay and if I type immediately it doesn't get the first couple of letters so the search is worthless. I've already tried the fixes available on the forum but no effect. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. -Izzy

If you listen cartefully, you can hear me not caring.
The first thing I would do is update to 23H2. That may or may not solve your issue, but being up to date is never a bad thing.

If the 23H2 update is not offered in Windows Update, then download the latest Windows 11 iso from Microsoft and do a repair install.
