I'm still trying to learn some of the basic system programs in Windows.
What is the difference between Local Group Policy Editor and Registry Editor (RegEdit)?
I believe the Local Policy Group Editor switched settings on and off for a specific computer, but does so from a "high level" while the Registry Editor adjusts settings at a more "basic level."
What am I getting right or wrong in my understanding of these programs? I've done some reading, but I'm not sure if I'm interpreting it correctly.
