Hi can someone advise me on a good Backup app i am just restoring my Laptop after Macrium left me done and trashed my computer while i was trying to restore my hard drive i have has acronis in the past and that let me down
Does any on now of a reliable backup app please

Macrium Reflect X is the best, but Hasleo Backup Suite is snapping at its heels and is free.

Can you describe exactly how Macrium and Acronis have disappointed you?

Are you trying to back up personal data as well as the operating system and installed applications?

Hi its so long ago with Acronis i cant remember exactly what happened. so i started using Macrium 8 and i have made several full system backups on two external hard drives alternating between the two. then just recently i caught a really bad virus so i decided i wound restore a full c drive to get rid of the virus so i download the recovery software from Macrium and made a boot usb.
So i booted from the usb and selected a saved backup then the software said it was restarting my pc and that was where it went wrong it deleted my c drive and then just nothing

Did you contact Macrium? Your best bet is still to try and restore from a Macrium image unless you have other backups.
