On Windows 10, you could relocate pagefile to a secondary drive.
I have an nvme/optane drive as main C drive and nvme drive as secondary drive.
The Optane drive is really quite poor in terms of write resilience - down to 96% in just under a year as I was storing all my vhds in a partition, and they do a lot of writing. I moved then to secondary drive, and still at 100% for several months.
So, on Windows 11, I tried to move pagefile as well, but it comes up with an error message saying it has created a temporary pagefile (on C drive) due to a pagefile configuration issue. I tried various combos, and only time I do not get error message is if I have a pagefile on C drive.
So, it seems you cannot have no pagefile on C Drive with W11?
Thoughts?
