Remnant

I used Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Star Wars Jedi - Fallen Order. Normally that program works great. Strange thing is, when I go to Settings and then Installed Apps, I see the app listed. But there isn't any file size. And while clicking on the three dots to the right does show the words "Modify" and "Uninstall", they're grayed-out. So clicking on them doesn't do anything.

Is there an icon remaining on your desktop? Try using Hunter Mode to remove remnants.

Look also for a save folder, maybe in C:\Users\<user name>\Documents
Many games put save folders there.

You should find the remnants in this key.


If not use: Registry Finder to help you.

Load Control Panel. Change view to Large icons from top right. Open Programs and Features. Locate the game there, click on it and click uninstall. You should get a warning that the game is already removed and if you want to remove the game reference from the installed programs list. Click on Yes and the entry will be gone both in Programs and Features and in modern Installed Apps.

That's another example why we expert users prefer the "traditional" Control Panel from the modern Settings app. Not only it looks nicer, but also has some features not yet available on the modern Settings app such as removing ghost apps entries from installed programs list. Pity Microsoft games and apps from the Store are not listed in Programs and Features.

Thanks, that got rid of a couple of rogue entries for me.

From your other posts... The game was installed via the Steam game client.

Install the game again from Steam, then uninstall from Steam.

The reasons for saying that is that all these game clients have mechanisms for Saving/Syncing games in the "cloud" and sometimes other facilities/mods of a particular game, maybe links to other game clients/suppliers resulting in folders in a lot of places.

I have Steam, and several game clients. At least 5 have been uninstalled from Steam using Steam with no visible remnants or rogue entries in Control Panel such as you have.

Revo should not be used as a first call.
