Rescue Paragon backup.

In trying to rescue a Paragon backup I made.
Someone kindly sent me the following, but to date I am struggling to implement it.
Any help or advise please in trying to re-install this backup would be greatly appreciated:

According to Google AI, you can mount your Paragon backup as a virtual disk. Once you have done that, you should be able to copy your files from the virtual disk to another drive.

To access your email, You would need to figure out how to restore your email programs data to a new installation of your email software.
In any event, getting access to your files as a virtual disk is a good step to preserve your data in a format that you can use to access your data in other ways.
After doing that, if you could continue to try to restore your troublesome Paragon Drive image backup, but it looks like that may be very difficult or impossible.

Made some progress, the Image Mounter I feel is now embeded into Paragon Backup and Recovery 18 Community Edition.

Paragon is a lesser used imaging app so don't know if anyone here uses it. But, like any imaging program, to restore the entire image (all partitions, OS, programs,files, email, registry, etc) one has to boot from the Paragon recovery drive you should have made when you first started using the application. You can NOT restore the entire image from within Windows.

Only individual personal files can be restored from an image mounted within Windows. You mount the image and copy files from within the image.

You can mount Paragon virtual drives from within the app.
You can also start to restore an image from within the app, but it will ask you to reboot the PC and then continue the restore at boot, and then once completed, boot into the restored Windows.

It may not have a nice-looking interface like the other backup software, but it is super reliable.

I have no idea if you can mount Paragon virtual drives from within the app. But I think I still have the Paragon rescue disk somewhere in my Archive folder on my external drive if you need it.

I've used Paragon products in the past, and I've always found them to be reliable.
