Solved Right mouse click on file crashes windows explorer

Hi,
Right mouse click (and touchpad click) works on other apps such as excel and everything
After click the busy symbol appears for about 2 seconds then explorer disappears.
Windows 11 home 22H2 22621.2283 up to date
Last update 14 days ago
Restarted explorer from task manager. problem remains.
Had windows search indexing off. Turned back on . reboot . problem remains
Ran anti virus - no problems.
Uninstalled open shell. reboot problem remains.
Ran sfc /scannow. No problems

Any help would be appreciated

I went through the clean boot procedure and the problem still exists .
So it looks like a Windows reinstall

Unfortunately the crashes still occurred after following the instuctions.

Try repair install if that does not work, clean install Windows 11.

Just to complete the reporting on this -
After following the clean boot suggestion and installation of Nirsoft software and not fixing the problem - I was about to do a windows clean install - but a new round of windows updates became available. So I installed that update - and rather surprisingly the right click problem on file explorer had been fixed!
I know that doesn't make a whole lot of sense - Why was I getting the problem in the first place?
Anyway if anyone else reads this in trying to solve a similar problem they have the suggestions from glasskuter and freebooter

The problem only happens when I select more that one file. Booted into safe mode and did not have the problem so something that is loading in normal boot mode is doing it and that could take a year to find it.

After several hours, the problem was created by PicoPDFEditingSoftware.exe.
