Finally decided to buy a new 2T SSD; not my first pony ride. Did a migration on my laptop as I installed my original 500 SSD from my desktop with no issue. Then added a new 1T to the desktop after the migration, So, here we are migrating from the 1T to the 2T. Same thing happened previously after migration. 75% of my contacts disappeared from outlook 2019; gone. So I was able to replace the missing ones selectively by getting some from Gmail on line and also from Windows Mail contact list. No idea why that happens as there were no other missing files (so far). Weird to me. Also, and not a problem Samsung said that Magician migration would wipe the source drive which it didn't. I didn't mind as I could have re-booted off the source. I figure that there are a herd of contact files out there from past email addresses and other systems. Like win live mail etc.
