This tutorial will show you how to see which apps have accessed your device location in the last 7 days for your account in Windows 11.
Microsoft operates a location service that helps determine the precise geographic location of your Windows device. The precise location of your device allows apps to give you directions, show shops and restaurants that are near you, and more.
When one or more apps are currently using your device location through the Windows location service, you’ll see the location icon in the notification area (system tray) of your taskbar.
You can view location recent activity to see which apps have accessed your location in the last 7 days. This can be helpful for privacy and to turn off apps you don't want to access your location.

OPTION ONE
See which Apps are Currently Using your Location from Taskbar System Tray
1 If one or more apps are currently using your device location, hover the pointer over the Location icon on the taskbar system tray to see the name of the app(s) using location. (see screenshot below)
1 Open Settings (Win+I).
2 Click/tap on Privacy & security on the left side, and click/tap on Location on the right side. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on Recent activity to expand it open. (see screenshot below)
4 You will now see the date and time of all apps that have accessed your location in the last 7 days. You can click/tap on the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom to scroll through the apps. (see screenshot below)
