Hi,

Sometimes, with the sfc /scannow command, Windows indicates that it has found errors in the files and has repaired them.
They are always the same files:

Code:
2023-11-29 11:03:45, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Corrupt file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthA2dp.sys
2023-11-29 11:03:45, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Repaired file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthA2dp.sys
2023-11-29 11:03:45, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Corrupt file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthHfEnum.sys
2023-11-29 11:03:45, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Repaired file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthHfEnum.sys
2023-11-29 11:03:45, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Corrupt file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\bthmodem.sys
2023-11-29 11:03:45, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Repaired file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\bthmodem.sys

My wifi/bluetooth card works great and I have no problems with them.
But Several times I have reinstalled the wifi/bluetooth drivers and these errors continue to appear sometimes.

Somewhere here, I read that it was "more or less normal" for Windows to repair these files.
Can you confirm this?
Is there a way to permanently fix this ?

Thanks. :-)

run the following command as administrator

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

This command will automatically connect to the Windows Update service to download and replace the corrupt files.

Yes, I always check the image with DISM after each sfc /scannow.
Then I do an sfc /scannow again just after.
And everything is correct.

But sometimes (a week, 1 month later...), the errors in the 3 files reappear with SFC /scannow. (?)

Unless you're having issues with updating, then I wouldn't worry about it. The errors are probably those duplicate ownership issues which frequently appear in CBS logs and don't actually cause any problems.

Ask yourself this question: would you have noticed if you hadn't run SFC? I see far too many people recommending SFC/DISM without actually understanding what it does and what it should be used for. You should never have to run either of those unless you're experiencing update issues.

Did you update your Windows Build because it is something that commonly happens but not on every build. @fg2001gf11F can tell you more about it. LOL.

You are right.

I always see these errors even though there is no malfunction.
I will forget them and continue to live with them. ;-)

Most of the errors we see concerning drivers, are because Microsoft included drivers with Windows Updates.
A lot of the time, these will "conflict" with the driver that's already installed.

The way to deal with this is to stop Microsoft from including drivers with Windows Updates.
