Shared printer

Hi All
Just to ask has any one managed to share an old HP Laserjet 1200 printer between windows 11 and windows 11.

If so what drivers and how ?
I have tried and tried to no avail
Tried all suggestions on the Web but still no joy
Can see printer on network but can't connect
Thanks in advanced for any advice

I can not speak for the 1200 but I have a 2005 vintage laserjet 1020 connected by usb to one of my Windows 11 machines. It is used by all the computers on my network. I used a 2016 driver and got it to work by installing it on the other computers by name. HP site says your printer has a driver date of 6/23.

During printer setup select the printer that I want isn’t listed. Add Manually.
