Do you have Gigabit Internet (1000 Mbps) or Gigabit Extra Internet (1200 Mbps)?
I was perplexed by your plan name. I am getting
Download = 932.30 Mbps
Upload = 42.08 Mbps
All my computers with an Ethernet port are Gigabit (1000 Mbps). That limits their speeds to that. I suspect that if one of my computers had a faster Ethernet port it would get a download speed closer to 1200 Mbps.
BTW, I have a Comcast XB8 Gateway. The problem with such fast Internet is that your wireless devices need to support Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax to take advantage of fast wireless speeds. My phone and new laptop supports that. My laptop gets the following wireless speed:
Download = 848.07 Mbps
Upload = 40.77 Mbps
Around April 2021 I started getting what was then called Gigabit Speed from Comcast. I just checked net speed test and see they renamed that plan to Gigabit Extra around January 2022. Here are the current plan names.
Gigabit: down/up = 1000/20 Mbps
Gigabit Extra: down/up = 1200/35 Mbps

The federal government has been saying for years that everyone is entitled to high speed Internet. The problem it is cost prohibitive in many rural areas. Satellite Internet has been around a long time but it was known to be relatively slow and expensive. It is good to see companies like Starlink come along that are filling a need for a lot of people. I expect you startup costs were high for Starlink but as long as your monthly costs are affordable that is all that matters.Still happy with my Starlink speeds and have now attached the previous Asus router via the ethernet adapter. So have my guest networks back and much better coverage in the house too. Best think since sliced bread for a rural area with virtually no broadband speeds.
I'm very excited because I, too, shall be entering the 21st century. They finally ran fiber around the town where I live. I have an install window this Saturday for a 1Gig line. I can hardly wait!We finally got upgraded to fiber. I'm paying for 500 mbps, and get around 615 mbps with upload speeds a tad bit higher.
Nothing like sitting around waiting for the Kinetic guy to call saying he's ready to come install my new line...I'm very excited because I, too, shall be entering the 21st century.
