Slow computer, mucho mouse lag

desktop:
AMD ryzen 7 5700x
16gb ddr4 1600
radeon rx580
P5 Plus NVMe PCIe M.2 1TB

Mouse movements are super laggy as to being almost unusable. I am barely running anything on this PC. Resources are NOWHERE near maxed but If i move the wireless mouse....I wait. Sometimes. Other times it's fine, but not for long. This is fairly new behavior. Using the PC w/keyboard only does not cause any delay.

I'm at a loss as to how to troubleshoot. I'll bring a corded mouse tomorrow, but beyond that *hands up emoji*
Do you have a miner installed???? internet activity is very low... I just don't know.

First replace the battery in the wireless mouse. Change the USB port of the Wireless mouse controller to a different USB port on the computer.
Try a wired mouse.
You can also do a Clean Boot. If this works you can keep it this way, or you can add one or more Services or Startup items until the behavior starts again, then you will know the culprit.

Frustrating problem. Wired works fine. It will work fine and then LAG like a crap internet connection in graphic heavy game.

If you have changed your battery in the mouse and placed the USB Controller in another USB port on the computer, not through a Hub, and the Wireless mouse lags, but the Wired doesn't, then it is that Wireless Mouse that needs to be replaced.

It's not. I use that mouse all the time on another computer.
