Some questions about windows 11

Can someone help me fix that issue became the latest ms win11 updates?
I try these:
01. Remove some updates
02. Re-installing the explorer.exe
03. Boot at safe boot(Then it work fine the explorer with the toolbar and everything) but at normal boot not.

Please help me.

My own personal conclusion was/is that the easiest bestest solution to tackle the problem of File Explorer behaving like it got infected by some malware produced by Microsoft (yuppers, it is what it is, and I apologize for my doing it on purpose...) is this:

ExplorerPatcher (on GitHub) ➜ go to Properties ➜ File Explorer ➜ Control Interface: Windows 10 Ribbon

Already try clean boot and disable all services.
Only at safe boot the explorer has toolbar as it is the normal at normal boot doesn't have any toolbar.

By "toolbar", I guess you mean the Windows 10 Ribbon. (On Windows 11, File Explorer has a Command bar instead of the Ribbon.) To bring back the Ribbon, download and install ExplorerPatcher from here (click on Releases in the column on the right, and look under Assets | ep_setup.exe). Next, right-click on the taskbar and choose Properties, go to the File Explorer section in the settings window panel that appears. In there, you can change Control Interface to Windows 10 Ribbon. Finally, it needs to restart explorer, as noted by the asterisk (*) sign. For this, click on Restart File Explorer (on the bottom left).

This is why I said to choose the Windows 10 Ribbon.

So don't uninstall it then? :-)

Mouse right click don't work at windows explorer.
Go to Properties ➜ File Explorer ➜ click on Disable the Windows 11 context menu*. Next, click on Restart File Explorer (*) on the bottom left again.

you can disable updates easily via services...

although it isn't advised. use the GP method and set it to notify only, so you will at least know when there are updates and what updates they are. And yes, you can use GP in Win Home OS. (don't remember where i acquired this set of commands. was in my notes on my NAS)

  • Sign in as an Administrator
  • Open Elevated CMD
  • Stay connected to the internet and execute the following commands one after the other
FOR %F IN ("%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientTools-Package~*.mum") DO ( DISM /Online /NoRestart /Add-Package:"%F" )

FOR %F IN ("%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientExtensions-Package~*.mum") DO ( DISM /Online /NoRestart /Add-Package:"%F" )

Restart PC

Disabling the Windows Update service is not a solution that works, when the goals is to block all Windows updates completely. (This holds true even if you also disable the tasks that re-enable the Windows Update service.)

Like I already explained. Not without hacking Windows, you can't (excepting only if you choose to permanently disconnect Windows from the internet).

Eventually it will download and install some critical update(s) regardless of whether the Windows Update service is still kept permanently disabled. That's right... a part of the Windows system is capable to download and install at least some Windows updates directly, i.e. as opposed to using the Windows Update service. I already tried to explain this two weeks ago (see my post #112).

As i read and do myself simply disable the "windows update service" doesn't disable forever the ms updates so how you did that?

No unfortunatelly this doesn't work forever.
Ms can still enable the ms updates so it's little useless.

I have a file server on 22h2 and a media server on 22h2 that disagree. File server hasn’t installed any updates since Jan 2023 and the media server since Aug 2023. No optional updates.. nothing. Only thing I’ve done on either is disable the service.
Don’t know what else to tell you. If you can’t get that to work, you can just set windows update to notify prior to downloading or installing and disable that notification as well.
GPO - Computer - “Configure Automatic Updates” - Value = 2
GPO - Computer - “Display Options for Update Notifications” - Value = 2

I can't install win11 without internet(I make the "OOBE\BYPASSNRO" command) and without mail(I don't want to add mail at win11 at all.

I try to re-install the win11 23h2 for the explorer issue but during install process ask me to connect to the internet and ask me mail.
