Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.
That is not new, I got that 2 years ago on a new Notebook OOBE, pre-installed Windows 11 Home.
Subsequently, occasionally after an Edge update.

You just select "Not now". That of course hints at the situation. Edge is my main and only Browser installed.

Unfortunately there is too much mis-information spread these days, rather than from real users.

It was a new machine and setting up what came with it.

It also did not offer the "I don't have Internet" choice so I set it up with Microsoft Account, later set up a new User with Local Account and Admin rights, logged off and rebooted to get the log-in choice of the new User and remove the Microsoft Account user, no other issues. All for client's desire.

Just a little more Microsoft intrusiveness , in this day and age most people can make an educated decision on what they will use or are already set on what browser they are using and for most it is certainly not Edge, but yet they keep trying to cram it. They just love riding that razor thin line of trying to be a monopoly.
