Spontaneous Windows 11 crash while lying in bed listening to white noise, booted to BIOS

Please make a new restore point.

Then run: pnputil /delete-driver oem24.inf /uninstall /force

This should completely uninstall remaining logitech software / drivers.

Windows typically has default drivers.

Then reinstall any needed logitech software / drivers.

In another thread didn't you use WDV?

Which tutorial had you used?

Run DDU again to uninstall the Intel GPU drivers.

Do not manually reinstall.

Perform Windows updates > indicate any prompt to reinstall > post a new V2.

Alright, I removed all traces of Logitech software from my computer and reinstalled the Logitech software. Then I did the above instructions. Here is the updates Drivers.txt and new V2 Log Collector V2 3-15-2024 third.zip

I followed this but I didn't really know what I was doing Enable and Disable Driver Verifier in Windows 10

Testing all non-microsoft drivers resulted in BSODs after login and I had to use the restore point I had made. I didn't learn anything from it.

When did that occur?

Please start WDV with this customized tests:

[ ] 0x00000010 I/O verification

If there is no BSOD open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

verifier /querysettings

so like i did before? i need a little more instruction, ive only ever used it once

Open verifier > Create custom settings (for code developers) > check I/O verification > and then what?

To turn off WDV: boot into safe mode > command prompt: verifier /reset

To start WDV > choose settings > click next or finish:

Start WDV with just the one customized test.
Select all non-Microsoft drivers.
Select no Microsoft drivers.

If there is no immediate BSOD open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

verifier /querysettings

There was no immediate BSOD, WDV is still turned on

Restart WDV with these customized tests:

[ ] 0x00000010 I/O verification.
[ ] 0x00000020 Deadlock detection.
[ ] 0x00000200 Force pending I/O requests.
[ ] 0x00000400 IRP logging.


If there is no immediate BSOD then open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

verifier /querysettings

with these settings I'm getting a BSOD after login

Each time WDV is started post either V2 or querysettings results.


For BSOD post a new V2 for any BSOD.

I used safe mode to reset the Verifier and logged in normally to create a new V2, here it is Updated Log V2 (2024-03-15_02-34-22) fourth.zip

BSOD: Fri Mar 15 01:30:01.304 2024 (UTC - 5:00)


Please uninstall:

LGVirHid64.sys
LGBusEnum64.sys

Do not reinstall.

Restart WDV with the same settings.

I uninstalled the Logitech Gaming Software which I confirmed removed LGVirHid64.sys and LGBusEnum64.sys

Ran WDV with same settings. This is the result of verifier /querysettings

[ ] 0x00000008 Pool tracking.
[ ] 0x00000010 I/O verification.
[ ] 0x00000020 Deadlock detection.

[ ] 0x00000800 Miscellaneous checks.
[ ] 0x00020000 DDI compliance checking.
[ ] 0x00080000 DDI compliance checking (additional).


Please make sure that all non-Microsoft drivers are selected including Nvidia GPU drivers nvlddmkm.sys.

No crash
