Start Menu Switching Back and Forth

I know windows have plans on updating the start menu, but every few days my start menu looks like the old one and back and forth.

I can’t say I have experienced the Back & Forth, it did change back to the old menu, once. Now it’s back to the new. I assumed there was a problem with it because I wasn’t the only one who noticed.
As far as their plans, I think it’s already done.

I am still on the "old" Start menu (yay!), but then again I have not updated to the Preview Update, KB5077241 (build 7922).

Hi mate

Try this Reg file from Garlin if you want to update Windows. Run it after the Windows Update and it should disable the new start menu for you.

How to revert to old Start Menu without using third party tools?

The new Start Menu forced itself today on my PC, and it wouldn't disappear even after consecutive restarts. I would like to revert it without using third party tools, as those tools usually do more than just revert a setting and I don't want that (Windows 11 is so prone to files...
