StartAllBack

I did check Start11 and I am using it now, so to me the matter is settled: there's no good non-Stardock alternatives with a Windows 10 Start menu.
They really got themselves a nice niche there.
I wanted to avoid Stardock software because their software is a bit too intrusive and is always missing something.

StartAllBack looks great and the taskbar and windows explorer options are great. A shame that the creator has a Windows 10 option that doesn't have the Windows Start menu. There's some of us out there that prefer that menu style. That's why I asked him.
I was just trying to understand the snarkiness of the user that replied to me.

I also like how SAB shows all Windows Tools in one list, as opposed to the 7 individual folders!

I went back to 3.5.7..., 3.6 screwed up a bunch of stuff!

On my new desktop shortly after StartAllBack updating my dual monitors started flashing on and off. I did a restart and the problem seems to have gone away. My old desktop with a single monitor didn't do it. They have different video cards so it may have been a driver problem.

I think my problem was SAB and QTTabBar were not playing nicely together!

If you want to fix the problem, try changing the name of the programs. It must work for MS. They have been doing a lot of name changing lately.

I don't think that's what he wants. That disables the whole program. I guess he wants to disable only the start menu. In which case just disable the custom start menu on this screen

Running both might cause conflicts. Why not just use one?

Start 11 menu is better looking and function like windows 7. Start all back have the better taskbar implementation

IDK, I like the Win7/Win8 style of SAB way more than what Start11 looks like. Though I haven't tried Start11.

Looks a bit weird with the Win11 taskbar, but I'm trying out Windhawk mods atm. I used SAB's Win7 taskbar before, and it was a perfect match.

I had to disable StartAllBack on my new desktop. The taskbar keeps refreshing every so many minutes. a couple of times both of the monitors did a refresh. This just stated today. The only change that I know of made to computer was the updated Stack Package yesterday. I haven't checked my old desktop yet.

Does anyone else's AV go off when they try to download the latest version? My AV claims it has a virus.
